Such great important questions you have answered here on how to bring up diverse kids and challenge racism. My children are of mixed parentage as well as we do head back to my home country so they are familiary with both cultures

Loved this interview! I agree, conversations and representation needs to be shown especially in places where we are seen more in a negative light instead of all the positive that happens within black communities.

I honestly get so shocked when I hear racist remarks as it is something that is not in my nature and never been an issue with my kids. I remember telling my boys when they were little at the stage they first noticed people had different coloured hair and skin etc. I told them everyone is the same it is the person inside that matters and it stuck with them

I’m surprised by the comments in Austria about skiing. Her work is very important. I also think that travelling helps people become open minded and see that people are the same all around the world and diversity enriches soceity.
